John Boyd, Founder

Hi Everybody,

My name is John Boyd, and I have been part of the Northwest Ohio community for quite a while. I have been blessed to have been given great memories and golden opportunities from this community, and I strongly believe in giving back!

Growing up here, I have always loved basketball and played it from childhood to college (Rogers, Libbey, Knoxville College, Owens, Tennessee State-Nashville).

I believe sports can help mold and motivate young people from all backgrounds to be better, well-rounded humans.

That is why I started Top Notch Sports and why I am deeply committed to our primary programs:

• The Men's Top Notch Elite Men’s Basketball Association (MTNBA) is a weekly league that allows young, talented athletes to compete in a safe and structured environment.

• The Women's Top Notch Basketball Association (WTNBA) is the first women's league in the region. Talented female athletes in a structured environment. It is growing exponentially.

• The Top Notch basketball officiating camp/mentorship program is designed to help basketball officials develop concentration, discipline, and humility.

• Top Notch Youth basketball camps are supervised sports activities for the younger ones. We supervise, educate, and guide them with fundamentals emphasizing integrity, character, and leadership. We even feed them!

• Top Notch High School shoot-outs bring the best Varsity basketball teams out to take on one another.

I hope you can become part of any of our programs here at Top Notch!

Thank you very much!

Sincerely, John
